Hacksaw Gaming
The studio behind Epic Bullets and Bounty
Company History
Hacksaw Gaming started in 2018 with a small team of 15 in Malta. The founders came from NetEnt and Leander Games — they'd spent years building slots for other companies before going independent.
The first two years focused on scratch cards and instant-win games. That pivot to slots happened in 2020, and it changed everything. By 2022, two years after the pivot, they held licenses in 20+ jurisdictions and had released over 50 slot titles.
What sets them apart? Every game gets its own mechanic. DuelReels in Epic Bullets and Bounty, xNudge Wilds in Dork Unit, Duel at Dawn in Wanted Dead or a Wild. Their 2024-2025 releases average 3.2 unique mechanics per game — compare that to the industry norm of recycling the same bonus round with different skins.
What They Do Best
High-Volatility Design
Most Hacksaw slots are rated 4/5 or 5/5 volatility. They build for the bonus-hunting crowd.
Unique Mechanics
Each game gets its own signature feature — no engine recycling. DuelReels, xNudge, Duel at Dawn are all Hacksaw originals.
Feature Buy Options
Multiple bonus buy tiers let players choose their risk level. From 5x boosted spins to 1,000x premium bonuses.
Mobile-First Development
Portrait mode is the primary design target. Desktop is an adaptation, not the other way around.

Fairness & Licensing
All Hacksaw Gaming slots are certified by BMM Testlabs for RNG fairness. Regular audits verify that the published RTP matches actual gameplay data across millions of spins. The certification covers both demo and real-money modes — same math model in both.
Why Epic Bullets and Bounty?
Hacksaw Gaming's strength is building unique mechanics for each game. Epic Bullets and Bounty's DuelReels are exclusive to this title — you won't find the same multiplier-duel system in any other Hacksaw slot. The mobile-first approach means the 5×5 grid was designed for portrait play from day one, and the 5/5 volatility rating fits their signature high-risk-high-reward philosophy.
